Robert Goodall
-
Robert Goodall is the Founder and CEO of Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation.
Prior to founding CMCC in 1994, Rob spent seven years with Royal Trust, serving the final three of those years as the National Managing Director of the Real Estate Finance Group, with a portfolio of $1.4 billion in commercial and multi-residential real estate loans.
He is a trustee of two publicly held REITs and a former director of a registered charity. Rob has an HBA from the Ivey Business School, and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
Richard Munroe

Richard Munroe is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Atrium, as well as its manager, Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation (CMCC).
Richard was appointed COO in 2022 and President in 2024, and is involved in the execution of the wider organization’s strategic direction, growth initiatives and operations. In his over 20 years of experience with Atrium and CMCC he has served in progressively more senior roles, and has developed a comprehensive understanding of real estate finance and development.
Richard has a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and is licensed under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario as a Level 2 Mortgage Agent.
Chris Anastasopoulos

Chris Anastasopoulos joined CMCC and Atrium as Chief Financial Officer in December 2025. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance and administration.
Prior to joining CMCC, Chris held senior finance leadership roles at a global asset manager, a major Canadian pension plan, and a leading Canadian chartered bank. He brings more than three decades of experience in the financial services sector with expertise in strategic financial leadership, and a strong track record of enhancing financial operations, strengthening governance and supporting long-term value creation.
Chris is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA, CPA) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Chris holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, and a B.Comm. from the University of Toronto.

Bram Rothman

Bram joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in 2005 and is now the Managing Director for Ontario, specializing in sourcing mortgage loan and equity joint venture opportunities in Ontario.
Prior to joining CMCC, Bram worked as an analyst for a major commercial real estate services company.
Bram is licensed under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario as a Mortgage Agent, and he also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Real Estate Property Development from the Schulich School of Business (York University).

Ian Jarvis

Ian joined Atrium MIC and Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in March 2024 as a Managing Director for British Columbia. In this role, he originates, structures and underwrites a wide range of B.C.-based commercial real estate financings, including construction, term, and high-ratio mezzanine.
He brings nearly two decades of real estate experience, specializing in providing high-yield and conventional financing to developers and property owners, and facilitating private equity investments. Previously, Ian served as Director of Real Estate at one of Canada’s largest financial institutions, and held senior positions at private real estate lenders providing debt on behalf of institutional investors.
Ian is licensed under the BC Financial Services Authority as a Submortgage Broker. He holds a BA from the University of British Columbia and a Masters of Commerce from the Australian School of Business (University of New South Wales).

Mitch Patrick

Mitch joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in April 2026 as Managing Director for the Prairies. In his role, he leads the origination, structuring, and underwriting of commercial real estate financings across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
He brings over twenty years of experience across private lending, commercial banking, brokerage, and real estate development. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in originating and structuring complex transactions with a focus on bridge lending, construction finance, and value-add real estate opportunities.
Mitch graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Management majoring in Finance.
Mitch has also served for a decade on the Board of Directors of the City of Edmonton Non-Profit Housing Corporation.
Matthew Scott

Matthew Scott joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in 2021 and is an Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Investments. As part of the origination team, Matthew specializes in sourcing Ontario mortgage loan opportunities in development/construction projects and income-producing properties.
Before joining CMCC, Matthew worked for 3 years in acquisition/disposition analysis and asset management on a variety of commercial assets throughout Ontario. Prior to that, Matthew worked in appraisal and property valuation for a diversified portfolio of commercial properties throughout the GTA.
Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate & Housing from the University of Guelph.

Mitchell Urzinger

Mitchell Urzinger joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in March 2022 and is a Commercial Mortgage Underwriter in BC. Mitchell is responsible for underwriting new and existing investment opportunities, management of the existing BC portfolio as well as forging new business relationships.
Prior to joining CMCC, Mitchell worked at KPMG as a Senior Accountant. In this role he led engagements with some of the country’s largest real estate companies. Mitchell then served as a Manager of Fund Accounting at Trez Capital, managing a team responsible for full cycle financial reporting.
Mitchell holds a Bachelors of Business Administration graduating summa cum laude from Trinity Western University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant in BC and a registered mortgage broker in BC.
Irkas Qatipi

Irkas Qatipi joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in June 2022 as part of the underwriting team. In his current role as AVP, Mortgage Investments, Irkas is responsible for supporting senior management in the evaluation of mortgage financing opportunities and assisting in the preparation of financial analysis and investment presentations for consideration by the Board of Directors.
Previously, Irkas worked with major asset managers such as 1832 Asset Management LP and Fiera Capital Corporation in various analyst roles, and has over 8 years of private equity, debt due diligence and valuation experience.
Irkas holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Alex Colombo

Alex Colombo joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in August 2022 and is an AVP, Investments & Asset Managements. He is responsible for evaluating mortgage financing opportunities.
Prior to joining CMCC, Alex worked in benefits consulting at WTW where he was involved in the design and management of group benefit plans. He has also held roles in ETF capital markets, risk management, and other corporate functions.
Alex completed a BBA with a specialization in finance at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Charlie Connell

Charlie Connell joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in December 2022 and is an Assistant Vice President, Mortgage Investments. Charlie is responsible for the origination, evaluation and closing of mortgage investment opportunities across CMCC’s various platforms.
Before joining CMCC, Charlie worked at Royal Bank of Canada as a Senior Manager with the bank’s Commercial Mortgage Finance and Securitization group.
Charlie is a CFA Charterholder and possesses a Master's in Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.

Spencer McFarlane

Spencer McFarlane joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in December 2022 on the commercial mortgage underwriting team. As an AVP, Commercial Mortgage Investments, his focus is to strategically allocate CMCC’s loan portfolio amongst a diverse range of high-quality financing needs that support trusted clients and partners.
Before joining CMCC, Spencer spent 6 years sharpening his problem-solving skills in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and private equity. After 2 years at one of the largest players in the Canadian gold-mining industry, Spencer, decided to apply his expertise to the world of real estate financing.
Spencer holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the Toronto Metropolitan University.

Angel Zheng

Angel joined CMCC in June 2026 as an Analyst, Commercial Mortgage Investments. In her role, Angel supports the origination team by evaluating mortgage investment opportunities and conducting financial analysis that helps inform lending and investment decisions.
Prior to joining CMCC, Angel worked in asset management and investment operations, where she developed strong analytical, financial modelling, due diligence, and problem-solving skills.
Angel graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics, a Chartered Financial Analyst Specialization, and a minor in statistics. She is also actively pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
Eric Kerbel

Eric Kerbel joined CMCC in December 2025 on the commercial mortgage underwriting team. In his role, Eric supports the origination team, evaluates mortgage investment opportunities, manages client relationships, and prepares underwriting and analysis that help inform lending and investment decisions.
Eric brings two years of experience in the commercial real estate industry with EY-Parthenon, where he developed a strong foundation in sell-side CRE transaction services, as well as real estate modeling, valuation, and development advisory across all major asset classes. Eric holds an HBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
Matthew Guglietti

Matthew Guglietti joined CMCC in December 2025 on the commercial mortgage underwriting team. In his role, Matthew supports the origination team by evaluating mortgage investment opportunities, managing client relationships, and preparing underwriting and analysis that help inform lending and investment decisions.
Matthew graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting. He brings two years of accounting experience in assurance at Ernst & Young, where he developed strong technical and analytical skills.

Phil Fiuza

Phil Fiuza joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in 2013 and is the Managing Director of Single Family Mortgages across Canada. In this role, Phil concentrates on the acquisition of non-prime residential mortgages in the Private and Mortgage Investment Corporation space.
In his over 30 years’ experience in the Canadian mortgage industry, Phil has developed well-established links to mortgage brokerages and agents throughout the country. His experience also includes 15 years in various leadership positions sourcing mortgages in the non-prime residential mortgage market.
Phil is licensed under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario as a Mortgage Agent.

Richard Coleman

Richard Coleman joined Atrium in March 2025 and is the Director of Sales, residential mortgages. In his role, Richard is responsible for supporting the strategic growth of our Residential Division, contributing to its continued expansion and success.
Richard brings close to three decades of sales and lending experience in the Mortgage Broker Channel. In his previous role he was instrumental in the successful launch and growth for a Large Private Lender in Ontario.
Richard was recently appointed to FSRA Technical Advisory Committee, is a Facilitator with CMBA Ontario where he teaches the Private Mortgage Course, and the Mortgage Agent Course.He is licensed under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario as a Broker.
Luke Furtney

Luke Furtney joined CMCC in January 2025 as a Residential Mortgage Underwriter. In his role, Luke is responsible for reviewing single-family mortgage applications, managing mortgage broker relationships, and addressing broker inquiries.
Luke brings a strong entrepreneurial background, having successfully run his own construction business for seven years. He also recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the Smith School of Business in 2024. Through these experiences, he developed strong business acumen, built lasting client relationships, and practiced his ability to assess financial and operational risk.
Luke is licensed under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario as a Level 2 Mortgage Agent.
Rachel Fiuza

Rachel joined CMCC in May 2025 as a Residential Mortgage Underwriter. In her role, Rachel is responsible for reviewing single-family mortgage applications, ensuring compliance with lending policies, and collaborating with mortgage brokers to facilitate smooth application processing.
Rachel recently earned her Bachelor of Commerce in Real Estate Management from the Ted Rogers School of Management at TMU. With extensive experience in the customer service industry, she has developed strong skills in assessing client needs, managing expectations, and delivering tailored solutions with meticulous attention to detail.
Rachel is licensed under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario as a Level 1 Mortgage Agent.

Jordan Forfar

Jordan Forfar is the Chief Executive Officer of CMCC Insured Mortgages Inc., where he leads the firm’s CMHC-insured lending platform, focused on delivering financing solutions for Canada’s multi-residential housing sector.
Jordan is an experienced real estate finance professional with a specialized focus on CMHC-insured and conventional multifamily lending. Over the course of his career, he has developed deep expertise in commercial mortgage origination, structuring, and investment management, working with institutional platforms and borrowers across Canada.
Prior to joining CMCC, Jordan held senior roles in the Canadian real estate finance industry, including positions focused on multifamily mortgage lending and capital deployment. His experience spans both lending and investment perspectives, enabling him to deliver disciplined, market-informed financing solutions.

Jonah Hanick

Jonah is an Associate, Insured Mortgages at CMCC Insured Mortgages Inc., where he supports the underwriting and funding of CMHC-insured mortgage transactions. In this role, he contributes to the continued growth of the firm’s insured lending platform, focused on financing Canada’s multi-residential housing sector.
Jonah brings a strong foundation in financial analysis and transaction execution. He began his career at KPMG in Corporate Finance, where he advised on and underwrote mid-market acquisitions and dispositions across a range of industries. He later transitioned into real estate finance, joining KingSett Capital’s CMHC mortgage team, where he was involved in underwriting and funding insured mortgage transactions.
His combined experience in corporate finance and real estate lending enables him to deliver thoughtful, disciplined analysis in support of high-quality financing solutions.

Jacquie Tam

Jacquie is an Associate at CMCC Insured Mortgages Inc., where she is responsible for the underwriting and funding of CMHC-insured mortgage transactions. In this role, she contributes to the continued growth of the firm’s insured lending platform, focused on financing Canada’s multi-residential housing sector.
Prior to joining CMCC, Jacquie spent four years in real estate lending roles across both institutional and private lending platforms, underwriting and funding primarily multifamily mortgage transactions. This experience enables her to bring a disciplined, well-rounded perspective to underwriting and transaction execution.

Tapas Kolte

As the AVP of Investments and Asset Management, Tapas is responsible for evaluating new equity investments and managing real estate projects. His responsibilities encompass conducting thorough pre-transaction due diligence, which includes financial analysis, market research, risk assessment, and the development of return models & sensitivity analyses for CMCC's private investments. He works closely with real estate developers to ensure successful execution of CMCC’s real estate developments.
Before joining CMCC in 2020, Tapas assisted private equity firms in their investment decision-making processes. He also served as a Mergers and Acquisitions analyst within a multinational conglomerate.
Tapas holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter and possesses a Master's in Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Razvan Vulcu

Razvan Vulcu joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in January 2021 as a Controller for CMCC Capital Funds. In June 2023, he was promoted to Vice President of Finance. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the financial reporting, tax and treasury functions of Atrium Mortgage Investment Corporation.
Prior to joining CMCC, Razvan worked at PwC Canada for over 4 years, developed strong experience in financial reporting under complex accounting standards and internal controls designed to mitigate risk as well as audit and due diligence.
Razvan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queens University and is a qualified CPA.

Thi Bui joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in June 2024. In her role as Senior Corporate Accountant, Thi will be supporting the full-cycle accounting process, including quarterly and annual working papers. She also assists the residential mortgage team with the preparation of advance statements and coordinating funding.
Prior to joining CMCC, Thi worked as an Accounting & AP Analyst at a global renewable energy company.

Ajay Patel joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in September 2025. In his role, Ajay will focus on financing process improvements, strengthening internal controls and driving operational efficiencies.
Ajay brings a wealth of expertise to this strategic role, with years of experience in assurance, advisory and consulting, as well as a deep understanding of financial systems, controls and process optimization.

Travis Neto joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in February 2026 as part of the Finance team. In his role as a Corporate Accountant, Travis supports the full-cycle accounting process and the development of quarterly and annual working papers. He also assists the Single Family Mortgages team with funding coordination and preparation of advance statements.
With a year and a half of corporate accounting experience at Avison Young, Travis brings strong analytical skills and experience in full-cycle accounting within the real estate industry.
Travis holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from York University.

Greg Martin

Greg Martin joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in August 2024 as the Senior Vice President of Credit Risk Management. In his role, Greg supports the commercial and residential mortgage teams with underwriting, structuring and administrating mortgages, as well as leading the quarterly preparation of portfolio analytics for the board of directors.
Greg brings over a decade of commercial real estate experience, specializing in commercial mortgage underwriting. He previously served as Vice-President, Underwriting at a national alternative asset manager that specialized in commercial real estate lending.
Greg is licensed under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario as a Level 2 Mortgage Agent.
Nikolay Leemhuis

Nikolay Leemhuis joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in 2026 as a Credit Risk Analyst. In his role, he supports the responsibilities of the Senior Vice President of Credit Risk Management, and assesses credit risk across the firm’s mortgage portfolio, supporting the evaluation and structuring of lending opportunities.
In his previous role at COL Capital Partners, he developed strong technical and analytical skills through monitoring the full deal lifecycle, developing detailed financial models, conducting underwriting analysis, and supporting transaction structuring across a range of commercial real estate investments.
Specializing in Mathematics and Economics, Nikolay holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia.

Brittany Griffith joined CMCC in June 2026 as Senior Marketing Manager, bringing over ten years of strategic marketing and communications experience to the team. In her role, she leads the development and execution of CMCC’s marketing campaigns and corporate communications initiatives. By driving integrated strategies across diverse channels, Brittany supports market growth and brand engagement.
Prior to CMCC, Brittany specialized in the residential real estate and lifestyle sectors, leading high-impact marketing portfolios and brand developments.
Brittany graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Centennial College.
Minerva Dewan

Minerva Dewan joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in March 2026 as a Marketing Coordinator. In her role, Minerva supports the implementation of CMCC’s marketing initiatives and campaigns. Through leading the execution of integrated marketing initiatives across various channels, she helps support CMCC’s growth and engagement.
Before joining CMCC, Minerva spent two years working in real estate marketing in residential real estate, where she developed strong analytical and creative marketing skills.
Minerva graduated from Schulich School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a specialization in Marketing.
Laurie Floyd

Laurie Floyd joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in May 1997 as an Executive Assistant and was promoted to Office Manager thereafter. She oversees the daily operations of the office, including licensing, IT, human resources, payroll and insurance.
Before joining CMCC, Laurie worked for 8 years in the Group Benefits division of Confederation Life Insurance, serving on a Business Improvement Project the last year to integrate the group administration of Confederation Life and Manulife Financial. Laurie also held various positions of increasing responsibility with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce for 7 years after which she managed a sun tan salon for 2 years.

Ana Mejia joined Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation in December 2025 as Office Administrator. In this role, Ana provides support across the organization by managing daily office operations and serving as the primary point of contact for the company.
Prior to joining CMCC, Ana spent more than 10 years within the non-profit sector. Ana holds an Office Administration – Executive Diploma with high honours from Centennial College.
